MSWsorting systems are also known as Material Recovery Facility (MRF). Recycling materials can be separated from municipal solid waste, including ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, plastics, paper and glass. Non-recyclable high calorific value materials can be made into RDF (SRF), and organic food waste can be made into biogas.
